Der Agriturismo Pian di Barca findet in einer herrlichen Lage zwischen Weizen- und Sonnenblumenfeldern am Rande des Naturparks Maremma, am Ufer des Ombrone, nur 5 Km vom Meer und den Pinienhainen der Küste der Maremma entfernt.
Das Gut, dessen Namen von einem alten Boot stammt, das die Reisenden von einer Seite des Flusses auf die andere brachte, liegt in einer ruhigen Position und bietet die Möglichkeit, entspannende Spaziergänge zu unternehmen.
Nur wenige Meter vom Haus liegt ein Kanuverleih, von dem aus man den Fluss erkunden und bis zur Mündung paddeln kann; dabei durchquert man wilde Zonen, in denen Pferde weiden.
In der Nähe befinden sich Reitplätze, wichtige archäologische Ausgrabungsstätten, mittelalterliche Orte, Golfplätze, Tennisplätze, Schwimmbäder, Naturschutzgebiete, eine Trabrennbahn, Verkostungen typischer Erzeugnisse und Thermalbäder.
Pian di Barca stellt seinen Gästen 4 Appartements und zwei große Zimmer im typische maremmanischen Stil zur Verfügung.
Der Hof verfügt über ein Vertragsrestaurant, in dem auch vegetarische Gerichte gereicht werden.
