Welcome to the homepage of Pianaccine Farm, in the heart of Tuscany. We hope, with this site, to introduct you to the aura of peace and quiet permeating our hills from centuries with the help of the mild climate and of nature, here still unspoiled.

In our cottage you will find all of this, plus our tasty typical food and our experience and kindness.

Our cottage is located on the hills at a distance of about 500 meters from the nearest village and has a marvellous view of the sorrounding countryside. It has two double rooms with a bath, one double room communicating witha another room with a bath that can serve either as a single or double room, two single (or double) rooms that, having no bath, can be cupled with the double rooms, and on the ground floor, another room with a bath for the disabled.

There is, therefore, room for up to twelve peopleand the cottage has all the comforts twelve people might need: five bathrooms, a vast dining room and a large kitchen all at your disposal. If instead you prefer someone to cook for you, you can eat in our restaurant, easily reachable with a five minutes walk, where you will be delighted by our specialities. Moreover, outside the cottage a large swimming pool (open May 1st-October 31st) will give you the chance to fully enjoy the wonderful sunny days of the Tuscan summer.

The products of our farm are realized through traditional and natural metods. Wine, oil,honey and grappa (an Italian spirit made from grapes) are yielded by our fields, cultivated by simple means. Ours wine has a decise rubin-red colour and shows a soft aromatic taste, to be coupled with red meat and handmade pasta. The oil, made with our olives, harvested with our own hands, has a brilliant and intense golden-green colour. Another of our tasteful products is honey; our bees supply us three different varieties: the golden honey made from acacia, the darker one made from all kinds of flowers and the dark brown made from chestnut.

You will also have the chance to taste our homemade "prosciutto" (a typical tuscan uncooked ham) and our biscuits, filled with nuts or almonds and cooked in our wood-burning oven.
