 General Information

I Nidi di Belforte Farmhouse Apartments - Farmhouse Accommodation near Florence in Mugello. The farmhouse “i Nidi di Belforte” is immersed in the green hills that surround Florence, in the valley called Mugello, where the Medici family that so helped sponsor the Florentine Renaissance originally came from.

The small village is part of an agricultural farm of over 200 hectares and is at the center of a protected area where wild animals such as doe, deer and wild boar live undisturbed. The farm produces extra-virgin olive oil and saffron as well as high-quality chestnuts in the woods.

The farmhouse is the ideal base to visit Florence, Siena, Arezzo and the other Tuscan cities of art or the small medieval villages that characterize the Tuscan landscape.

For those who prefer enjoying peace and quiet, the beautiful vistas can provide the background for relaxing at the farmhouse apartments and by the swimming pool or for taking walks amongs the fields and woods that surround the farmhouse.

Our Apartments

The origins of our farmhouse accommodation “i Nidi di Belforte” go back to the Middle Ages, when the small village with its guard tower dominated over the Belforte Valley over the lands of the Count Guidi family.

Today the farm has 9 comfortable apartments, restored and furnished in the traditional Tuscan style and ideal for enjoying a quiet and relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside surrounded by nature.
