Il Castelluccio is an elegant farm house perched on a hill overlooking vineyards and olive groves in Tuscanys idyllic Casentino region, just north of the historic hill-town of Arezzo. This small, private inn in the heart of Tuscany owned and operated by an English-speaking Italian family allows for relaxation and quiet while still being easily accessible to all major Tuscan hill towns. Featuring only five comfortable double rooms each with private bath and a lovely view.
Il Castelluccio combines the comforts and amenities of a spacious, newly restored interior and grounds with the charm and beauty of an historic building and antique furnishings. Guests will find excellent local restaurants within a short drive of Il Castelluccio, or may make use of a fully equipped, modern kitchen in the house to cook and eat in, if they choose. Il Castelluccio features a ground floor terrace and second floor porch with a stunning view. Outside the house is a private a garden, and next to the house is a newly designed, large swimming pool with a playful waterfall and first-rate cabana with private changing rooms and shower. The swimming, carved out of the hillside, is for the exclusive convenience of guests.
For travelers seeking an even more exclusive and private stay in Tuscany, a fully renovated and tastefully furnished cottage (a nineteenth century stone barn now converted to a private dwelling) is situated next to Il Castelluccio and is rented to parties of up to seven. This self-contained house features a kitchen, dining room, living room, guest bathroom, and private porch with a panoramic view on the ground floor, and two bedrooms, each with private bath, upstairs. Guests of this private cottage also have use of Il Castelluccios swimming pool and garden.
Il Castelluccio is a short twenty minute drive from the ancient Tuscan hill town of Arezzo, one hour south of Florence, three hours north of Rome. Il Castelluccios central location in Tuscany allows for day-trip excursions to such towns as Cortona, Perugia, Siena, San Gimignano, and Assisi. Rooms and the cottage are rented for one-week periods. Cleaning and fresh linens are provided weekly.

The house is a part of an old building that was restored 10 years ago., comfortably furnished and completely independent. It is situated on two floors. Downstairs there is a big kitchen a dining, living room with fireplace, a double bedroom and a bathroom. Upstairs there are two big double dedrooms each one with extra bed and a bathroom.
Outside there is plenty of space and a wide porch.
