General Information
The "Podere Violino" horse-riding centre is situated in a green landscape of Valtiberina, 2 km from San Sepolcro. It was set up by Roberta and Massimo, who are lovers of horses and agriculture, transforming it from an old, efficient and prestigious agricultural estate.
The restoration of the estate is the result of precise decisions: the exploitation of detail, which makes a place unique, and respect for its past: harmony between work and rest. Therefore, a time and space that lets us relive the creative vitality in each one of us, together with peace and quiet and a subtle, unintrusive welcome.
Roberta offers a different approach to horses, a chance to really get to know this animal, take care of it and to discover its "healing" and therapeutic qualities". Massimo offers simple, authentic hospitality and has paid great attention to detail of the surroundings, which are already full of charm. There are 20 sleeping places, in delightful rooms with bathroom and 2 suites.
The same quality of choice is given to food and wines, pleasure at the table is another of Massimo's strong points.
The Val Tiberina is full of history, culture and nature. The Podere Violino offers the possibility to go on evocative, guided outings on horseback visiting places of great historic and naturalistic interest such as Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo, Sansepolcro, Città di Castello, the Sanctuary of Verna or the enchanting and wild landscapes of the Appenines.
