General Information
The Farmhouse "I Gelsi" is a quiet farm in the Tuscan hills, at an altitude of 1,000 feet (350 mt). Surrounded by olive trees and spanning 4 hectares, “I Gelsi” basks in the Tuscan sun with a spectacular view on the valley. In our farm we produce an excellent extravirgin oil and a genuine tuscan wine.
The farmhouse consists of a large country house with swimming pool in Roman style that includes an apartment and a studio, both with independent access from the master house. Immersed in olive groves, our guests can enjoy the Tuscan countryside in a quiet and private atmosphere with a friendly hospitality.
There are many opportunities here, to visit the near Florence, Siena. S.Gimignano and Arezzo, who prefer a walk or a stroll under the Tuscan sun, cool off in the new swimming-pool or relax in the quite of the beautiful hills.
The apartments...
The studio
The quiet and cozy studio sleeps two, and includes a kitchen area, fully equipped with four fire range,microwave, toaster,fridge,TV SAT, bathroom and a pergola. It opens on the splendid terrace with spectacular views and has access to the garden too.
The apartment 4/6 sleeps
The apartment, which sleeps four to six, has been finely renovated in the Tuscan style, with cotto tiles paving the floors and wooden ceiling beams in full view. The apartment includes two bedrooms,one of ehich has large arch window looking into the valley; one spacious bathroom with shower; a large and fully equipped kitchen-dining room with a four fire range, oven, microwave and a fridge freezer, a cozy fireplace; and a living-room corner with sofa (that open to sleep two).
The apartment has a garden with an outside terrace and a barbecue where our guests can dine in the glowing evening and enjoy the view of the valley.
