General Information
Colombaia is not an agritourism centre, nor is it a hotel or inn. It cannot be compared to any of these although it offers all the characteristics of such structures. We offer you the possibility of a holiday with a difference in accordance with our motto: "Do unto others as you would have done unto you!"
La Colombaia is located in a charming fifteenth century farmhouse in the centre of the ancient village of Pergine in the heart of Tuscany. It confines with Chianti within the Siena, Arezzo, Florence triangle, not far from Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano and many more. It is surrounded by breath-taking olive groves, oak forest, vineyards and farmland, medieval villages, churches and castels.
Four tastefully furnished double rooms (max 12 people), four bathrooms with shower, a large living-room with fire-place, and above the roof tops, a splendid relaxation area where you can enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of Chianti and admire the diverse segments of the Tuscany landscape.
We cook for you delicious snacks and unforgettable meals. We use our own pure olive-oil and many of our products are organically grown obtained from our nearby farm or other local organic farms. And if you love good wines, our cellar holds the best Tuscan wines chosen with care for you.
