General Information
Placed in a 3500 ms park "Il Sole Verde" is surrounded
by woods and tipically cultivation of tuscany hills, vineyards and olive-yards. His 4 flats, two of them at first floor of a farmhouse and the others in agricultural annexes with verandah, are rustic buildings rebuilt and furnished being respectful of tuscany tradiction but with all confort. Each flat is furnished with accuracy and provided with indipendent heating plant and fire-place. The service is careful and provides the weekly bed/bath linen changement. At guest's disposal a laundry, a barbecue, a common hall provided with TV/SAT, where the guest can spend conversation and readings moments. It's possible have lunch to the outdoor by using the structures present in the park. The hospitality and any other kind of assistance are granted by the constant presence of the owners, living in the manor house. Possibility of housing horses. We accept small pets. once a week you can visit of the all farm
The tradictional tuscany cookery is still alive and it is in a strong relation with the modernity. Old rustic recipes continue to exist in large part in the foodscustoms of the familys and in the zone restaurant's proposals, that we can suggest You. From May to October don't neglect festivals often devote to the special dishes of typical villages that organise this special events. The ingredients of ground-dishes are the typical products of our land such as cereals, legumes, vegetables, poultry, pork and beff meet from the near Val di Chiana, combined with a wide choice of wines from Chianti and the Terre d'Arezzo farms, with an extraordinary olive-oil. All theese products are to taste in our farm or to search around between shops, wine-cellars and oil-mills. Of course we can give to the guest tradictional recipes
At "Il Sole Verde" You can brathe a particular atmosphere, You can loiter and delay in the big and relaxing green space at guest's disposal; You can swim in the swimmingpole with a view on the typical culture of the zone; You can walk through the next wood and vineyards. The bicycles at Your disposal allow the easy joint of the near citys, the Val d'Ambra hills with villages and abbeys, the Galatrona Tower and Parish that dominate us. So You can sway between present and past, by enjoing the simple but refined attractions of the country life. For the shopping passioned there are in the nearing the factory shops of "Prada", "Gucci","Dolce e Gabbana"," Armani", "Fendi" and many others.
For the children there are playthings in the park. Il Sole Verde has an agreement with a thermal resort that is few km far. There, you can have baths in 39° thermal water or you can book massages and other beauty or wellness threatments for special price.
In addition to do footing in a relaxing and peaceful scenary, bike rides, swimming in our swimmingpole, it's possible to organise trekking in WWF natural oasis or horse- rides by the near horse-centre "Rendola Riding" (1 Km far). It's also possible to reserve tennis places in a confortful place provided with restaurant, to be joined in 5 minutes; in 15 minutes You can joint another structure where it's possible to play minigolf. Inside the construction You will find a space for volleybal and an italian bowling alley in add to the possibility of bow-shooting
"Il Sole Verde" is placed, in a ideal equidistance, right in the centre of the historical-cultural triangle based on Firenze, Arezzo and Siena. On request it's possible to have the reservation for the principales museums. This geographic lucky position allows a continous descory through itinerarys that permit the easy joint of the pearls of arts and culture such as Cortona, Anghiari, Sansepolcro, Moltalcino, Pienza Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and many others. Around Bucine territory border You can visit the Crete Senesi (very special hills, famous all over the world), the Val di Chiana, the faboulous way of the Classic Chianti (joined in 10 minutes); an alternation of vineyards, olive-yards, farmhouses and pleasant medival centres, views in wich the nature integrates herself with history and man's activitys.
A history beginned with remote pliocenic installations, continued with the etruscan and roman civilisation, with abbeys, castles and villages, till the rising of the big farms. It's possible to attend important musical events at Accademia Chigiana of Siena, at many zone farms and in Centina's castle; you can also presence at lyric events in the beautiful scenary of San Giovanni Valdarno and Cortona squares.
