Welcome to Podere Casarotta! Previously, Podere Casarotta belonged to the first standard-bearer of Loro Ciuffenna, then to a group of local families, who were involved in producing olive oil and wine.
The estate was then owned by the Antinori family but for the past 15 years it belongs to a French family.Welcome to Podere Casarotta! The estate was then owned by the Antinori family but for the past 15 years it belongs to a French family.
On the front wall of the farm house, in the left corner you can see the date 1774 engraved into the original stone, this is when Podere belonged to the town of Loro Ciuffenna. The current owner has carried out a series of renovations on the estate maintaining, where possible, the original structure and form of the buildings.
The estate extends over 12 hectares and is surrounded by olive groves used for the production of oil.
A swimming pool (15x5) is available for guest's use.
Podere Casarotta is situated in Loro Ciuffenna, about 40 Km from Florence, Arezzo and Siena and only 15-20 mins. from Chianti - a region known worldwide for its wine. Your stay in Podere Casarotta can be either a relaxing holiday in a peaceful, beautiful place or a culturally enriched break with visits to historical and cultural centres.
