General Information
You will find the agritourism of the Caccese Family on one of the lovely Colline of the Valdichiana. Located in a strategic and panoramic position where you can observe the richness that our lands offer between vineyards and Olive groves, forests and cultivalted lands of Grains, tabacco (produced by our farm), and sunflowers. One can also visit the beautiful cities of art as the onramp fot the autostrada is only 7 kms away. Cortona is located 15kms away, Arezzo 25kms, Siena is 50kms, Florence 80 kms and Rome is 180kms away. The agritoursim Podere Ninfeo della Cisternella with its recent restoration ( by the current owners) was carried out with respect for the original Tuscan construction utilizing to a large degree many of the original materials. The property has been subdivided into 4 independent apartments:-Castagno 1 Ground Floor An apartment of approx 90 m2 with a large lounge room (sofa bed), fireplace and kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with shower and one with Bathtub).Castagno 2 First floorApartment of approx 90m2, spacious lounge with fireplace, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one upstairs with sofa bed and 2 bathrooms (one with shower and one with Bathtub).Portico 4 Ground FloorApartment of approx 75m2, lounge room with kitchen and fireplace, 2 double bedrooms, loft with 2 single beds and shower. Outside the building is a large garden with Pergola and where is located the swimming pool (14m x 6m and depth 1.2 to 2.5m) and a childrens pool (4m x 3m) and external showers. Each family has for there disposal outside table and deck chairs. There is communal use of washing machine and barbeque.The property is managed by the large family, Guiseppe and Tonino offer sampling of there delicious products with the opportunity to purchase and to participate in the farming activitiew if desired. The grandmothers and Maria are available for Tuscan cooking lessons and bread making lessons on request. The grandfather will take you to visit the farm animals and the horse.
