General Information
The agritourism La Pievuccia consists of an organic farm of 20 hectares, the manor, and an independent flat with a splendid view of the medieval castle of Montecchio. The grounds offer some sports and play facilities, and lovers of peace and quiet can relax among the trees and flowers in the garden.In addition to a permanent exhibition of agricultural tools from the past, there is a display of all the farm products on sale.In the familiar atmosphere of the dining room, you can taste the produce from the farm, all strictly organic olive oil, vin santo, wine, honey and truffles, vegetables from our own garden, homemade bread, prociutto, salami, poultry and rabbit kept in a natural surroundings and cooked in a bakers oven over a wood fire, as well as the typical local dishes, enriched and personalized by the use of sophisticated use of aromatic herbs.Each of the three apartments has a floor area of approx 30 m2 and is made up of a sitting room with cooking facilities, a bedroom and a bathroom. There is sleeping accommodation for two adults and one or two children. Apartment Girasole has wheelchair facilities. All three apartments open out onto a portico, which looks out onto the garden.The farm complex includes an open air cooking area with burning stove and grill, a large open air swimming pool (available from May to September), a green area with sun beds and hammocks, a childrens play area and bicycles to explore the beautiful surroundings nearby. MIMOSA Flat of 95 m2, reached by way of an external stone staircase, with loggia overlooking the green hills around the beautiful small town of Castiglion Fiorentino, custodian of rich Etruscan memories and valuable works of art.
