 General Information

The Estate is located along the ancient “Salt Road”, which linked Rome and Rimini. This ancient tuscan village was, through the ages, a site of importance and included a tower, mansion, convent, farm and today houses the organic production of food and has an “agriturismo” (farm holidays). It is excellently situated for visits to Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Perugia, Cortona, La Verna, Camaldoli and the Aretine valleys rich in history and cultural manifestations.

The village is late-medieval and comprises 4 houses and the master’s house. This is accessed by a long, straight country road lined with ancient mulberry trees and is immersed in a wonderful natural garden filled with silver olive trees and precious “Chianti” vinetrees.

In our Agriturismo, we are alway delighted to welcome guests who wish to spend some time in a relaxing and tranquil location, a place where you will feel not simply tourists, but will be welcomed as friends of the family. Also your dogs and cats are welcome in our farmhouse. We love pets.

THE AGRITOURISM (farm house)
“Il Palazzo” is situated right in the heart of Tuscany, in a late-medieval village. The agriturismo (including the original structure of the tuscan medieval village) has been preserved in perfect harmony with the nature which surrounds it. Situated at 380m above sea level, “Il Palazzo” offers the possibility to sample the peace of the uncontaminated Arezzo hills, but also within easy reach of the principal “art” cities – 70km from Florence, 60km from Siena and 30km from Cortona.

THE WELCOME
On arrival, you will be welcomed to the farm house and shown to your apartment. You will then have the opportunity to appreciate the typically Tuscan decor and comforts, and where you will no doubt spend will be welcomed to the agriturismo, shown to your room or apartment where you will have the possibility to appreciate the typical Tuscan comforts and decor and where you will be able to spend candlelit evenings sipping a glass of local wine and tipical food.

LUNCH AND DINNER
We will also be more than happy to advise you as regards eating out, so that you will enjoy the delights of genuine Tuscan cuisine. In our farm house, we produce wine and olive oil from biological agriculture.

FREE TIME
At “Il Palazzo”, you can relax at the side of our splendid swimming pool with panoramic views over the town of Arezzo, go fishing in our private lake, go horse-riding in the paddocks, or visit the surrounding with mountain bikes, which are available on request to our clients.

We would remind you that the first Sunday of each month one of the most important Antiques Fair is held in Arezzo – The “Fiera dell'Antiquariato”. This takes place in the heart of the old town when beautiful atmospheric streets are filled with stalls and antiques shops.

Visiting the city of Arezzo and discovering its many secrets is as if you were to dive into our past, where we can recapture an identity and values often forgotten in today’s modern world.
