General Information
Antecchia's farm is at 300 metres of highness and 8km from Arezzo. Coming from Arezzo ( S.Clemente's door ) or from the castle ( ring-road ) it's suitable follow the SS Casentinese until the junction on the right to Puglia-Tregozzano; overcome Tregozzano towards Chiassa Sup. turn on the right for Campriano and, at Capannaccia's restaurant, going on the right, that street brought to the villa.
The original building, in the XI century, was a monastery employed to lodge the pilgrins, coming from via Romea, that, crossed the Appennini to visit Verna and Cameldoli's sanctuaries, were directed to Rome. In the XVIII century the building was modified to become a villa. During the country's economic decadence it was used as colon's dwelling. In 1961 there was the last important change, before the actual one, in which the building became the house of the farm's owner.
