General Information
The Farm
"La Casaccia" is a farmholidays whose main production is wine. The guests of this farmhouse can be lodged, for week-ends or weeks, in renovated apartments consisting of ensuite rooms, living rooms, kitchenettes, fridge and heating. It has a wonderful view between medieval hills and villages in the agricultural Toscano-Umbra area.
The places
This area is the starting point to go on tour and visit the most attractive places full of historical-cultural and religious beauties.Monterchi and Sansepolcro ,the native town of Piero della Francesca, with the masterpieces " Madonna del Parto" and the " Resurrezione".
Anghiari with its medieval origins, is characterized by flourishing fabric shops, by old furniture restoration shops, by leather, ceramics, wrought iron and dressed stone ones. It is famous for the battle of 1440 between fiorentini and milanesi ( represented by Leonardo da Vinci). It is also full of charming churches.
Caprese Michelangelo, the Santuario Francescano de La Verna, Assisi, Perugia and other important places can be visited nearby.

Tollgate Arezzo motorway A1, connecting road, traffic lights on the left for the motorway 71 direction Casentino, crossroad Pontealla Chiassa, Passo della Libbia, Anghiari (25 km away from Arezzo) direction Loc. San Lorenzo, crossroad for Tortigliano.
Alternative: motorway 73 leading to Sansepolcro, Le Ville, crossroad for Anghiari ( 36 km away from Arezzo).
To get the Adriatica coast: motorway E45 from Sansepolcro
