The Agriturism ‘’I Caprioli di Sigliano’’ lies within a nature reserve park close to ‘Barbolana’ an old 17th century building and also near the ‘’ Montauto ‘’ castle. It is also close to the ancient convent of Anghiari whose notoriety remains as one of the best representations of medieval architecture which is most characteristic of the Tuscany region.

Overlooking and embracing the rivers Tevere and Arno, with its small churches and castles splattered over the lovely hills, our farmhouse lies on top of one of these hills from whose vantage point our guests will remain fully immersed in the history, culture, millenary forests of our area and meet the free wildlife which roams this unpolluted land.
Within the range of a few kilometres are the towns of Monterchi, Caprese, Sansepolcro whose town walls have seen the passage of great masters such as Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo da Vinci and Piero della Fancesca.

The ‘’Agriturismo’’ is an ancient stone building, totally restored and located near the castle of the historic county of Montauto. In the past, this building served as the county’s tribunal where justice was administered. Nowadays, it is the right place to enjoy country life.

The guest begins his return to nature directly from the courtyard of the farmhouse; so do not be surprised at the welcome of a roe buck or the chit chat of a wide variety of birdlife in this natural reserve. Through the centurian stoned house with its remarkable arches, our chef will escort you to the dining room and here you will be delighted with traditional homemade regional food, accompanied by the unfailing ‘chianti’ and other not less valuable wines from our cellar.
