General Information
Placed in the centre between Florence Siena and Arezzo, the Casa Bistino farm, runned by the Zampi family, is set in the midst of the olive trees and vignards of the Tuscan countryside.
The apartments you will be able to stay in are all indipendent, with garden and wholly restored respecting the original traits.
To our guests is offered the possibility of living in a real farm and taste local products of the celebrated Tuscan tradition, as the Chianti wine and the extra-virgin olive oil.
For your absolute enjoyment, we have renovated some apartments while maintaining their original characteristics thus enabling you to experience a way of life that is so very welcoming and typical to this region. These apartments are all independent of each other and have a lovely garden.
We offer our guests the opportunity to live on a working farm and to experience and appreciate the nature of these rural activities. In our centuries-old cellar you can taste and purchase many of our typical products, produced according to famous ancient Tuscan traditions, such as: Chianti wine, extra virgin olive oil and many more gastronomic delights. On our farm you can commune with nature and the elements, for this it is particularly suitable for families with children. It is very safe and appealing to children.
We also offer everyone the chance to appreciate country life. At your disposal is a swimming-pool from mid May till the end September. If you prefer eating outdoors, we have excellent facilities for grilling. You can take long meandering walks in the surroundings of Valdambra and visit many medieval castles and fortresses or even paint your surroundings. Just imagine fields covered with red poppies and sunflowers and grapevines and olive trees and lovely corners of small villages, and inhale the delightful fresh air of the countryside.
There are many wonderful hand crafted pottery shops that the Tuscans are world-famous for. Go to neighbouring Valdarno, where you can find terra-cottas, hand painted and crystal objects or leather goods and many other items created by Prada and all from “under the beautiful Tuscan sun”.
